Place: Parque De La Ciudad, Buenos Aires, Argentina

It was a week of Linkin Park on loop, and Friday was no exception. A message a day to Luqui to see if we were on the same page or if I was just exaggerating. And last night was probably one of the most impactful nights of my life. I rarely see a band twice, and Halloween night 2025 was the second time I saw Linkin Park.
It's definitely not the same band since Chester isn't here, and, holy shit, how his energy is missed. Mike Shinoda was warm, just like at Maximus in 2017, motivating the crowd and hugging the Argentine flag. Emily, on the other hand, was a bit distant from the audience, but she won everyone over when she came out dressed as El Diego HAHA. Vocally, she was up to the task for the band that means so much to me. It seemed to me she got uncomfortable when the crowd started chanting Chester's name (understandable, tbh).

The setlist was impeccable, to say the least. Two hours of energy and feeling like my lungs were bursting from my chest. A roller coaster of emotions, with so many surprises. I liked that they presented a different setlist than what they played in other locations on the same tour, although the absence of "Crawling" was noticeable. Special mention for the "When They Come for Me / Remember the Name" mashup, which was very clean. And fucking hell, "Waiting for the End" sounded so good. It surely touched a fiber.
All this was accompanied by a spectacular stage setup; lots of little lights that provided tremendous immersion. Very polished and professional musicians. The sound was also spectacular: I was close to the stage, but it wasn't extremely loud. It didn't saturate, and the instruments didn't cover each other. Very clear instruments and just fucking pros.
Now, in terms of location and organization, damn. What a disaster. I hope they never hold concerts in Parque de la Ciudad again. The organization, accessibility, the parking management, and the main avenue were disastrous. Bottlenecks everywhere. Not only did it take us an hour to move "200 meters" to park, but the lack of clarity and poor coordination from the traffic officers were making me boil. The layout of the field was very convoluted, and the barriers were the enemy. Impossible to get to Pit 2 and, even worse, to get out of it. The show ended at 11:00 PM, and we got to the car at 12:05 AM (WTF).
Even with the anger over how complicated it was to get there, and the odyssey of entering the section we booked, it was undoubtedly a night that kept me awake and left me singing "Bleed it Out" even in my dreams. I did leave, though, with a hell of an urge to drink 7 liters of beer.
They say the third time's the charm, so I'm eagerly waiting for whatever comes next from Linkin Park to mosh and lose my voice again.

Below I leave the link to the setlist on Spotify in case you want to get hyped:
